There’s A New Kid on the Block: The Big Straw

Top: H&M

It’s Saturday! Yas!!! How was your Fridate loves? I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did. Two of my bestest friends and I met up in Downtown Jersey City yesterday. We rarely get together because of work and other things going on in our lives so we were so excited! Before Cesca and I met with Jeff, we stopped by this cute little bubble tea place in Jersey City called The Big Straw.

I had a small Coconut Cookie Crumble (Coconut Milk Tea Smoothie, Oreo Cookie Crumble, Agave Honey) with bubbles. It was definitely delicious! The drink wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet, which I really liked.
Check out these photos I took yesterday. The place is quite small but it’s cute. If you want more information about the place and the drinks/food they offer, do visit their website and click here. If you ever get the chance to visit, make sure to take a picture and tag me on Instagram: aislinnpaula 😉

Enjoy your weekend!

lots of love!

Shake Shack Experience

Shake Shack at Madison Square Park, New York

Finally! I was able to try the famous Shake Shack burger! I was never a burger person but the reviews about Shake Shack got me curious. My friends wanted to have it so I decided to finally try it. The first time I had Shake Shack was at the Grand Central Station few weeks ago. It was amazing! I ordered the simplest burger they have which was the Shack Burger: Cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato, and Shack sauce plus fries! The Angus beef burger was not dry at all and unlike other burgers, Shake Shack burger was not oily. Single order was enough for me; it was definitely filling. The only downside about Shake Shack was the long lines (due to popular demand). My friends were in line for about an hour at the Madison Square Park location. The line at Shake Shack at the Grand Central Station wasn’t that bad. Either way, it was worth it.

Jersey City’s Very Own, Just Beclaws

Just Beclaws. The name was so catchy. I wondered about this freshly opened seafood restaurant in Jersey City for weeks and I finally got the chance to experience it. I would give a full review about the place but I don’t want to be biased. The owner is my friend’s sister-in-law. So just let me share some photos. Check them out!

The store looked small from the outside but they did a job well done with the store’s interior. I was able to take a few photos by the entrance but didn’t get the chance to take photos inside the restaurant. I was too excited to eat!
