Hey loves! Excuse my sweaty self. I wasn’t able to sleep the other night and was up until 5:00AM the next day. It must have been the pre-workout I had the night before. Anyways, since I couldn’t fall asleep, I decided to run my 4 miles. I started running 4 miles every other day trying to beat my time. Bronx-10 mile is just around the corner and this would be my very first “almost half-marathon” race. If you know me, you know that I hate running. So I decided to set a goal for myself and do a half-marathon this year.
To be honest, that run was such a struggle! Due to lack of sleep, I wasn’t able to run as fast as I could. As soon as I hit my 2 mile mark, my legs started cramping. It was supposed to be my rest day but I went for a run anyway. I decided not to count it against my goal so I turned off my phone’s GPS (and stopped tracking my run) and decided to just walk back. On my way, I went through the park instead of taking my regular route. It was such a lovely morning: warm but cool and breezy. My music was on blast as I walked through nature and I felt so….free and light. For once, I didn’t feel pressured about anything.
So here are some photos I took during my walk earlier. I took some shots and put my phone down. I didn’t wanna be occupied with social media and all other BS on my phone. I plan on doing this more often, just walking/running around to clear my head and nothing else. It’s actually refreshing.
Hey there loves! I just want to share my top 5 swimsuit picks for my upcoming vacation! I can’t wait to spend a week in Hawaii with my closest friend. I have been dreaming about going there for as long as I can remember and it’s finally happening! It will be a nice closing for our Summer 2015. Once September hits, it’s game time with my last semester in school plus work and internship!
I’m still working for that Hawaiian body. Hopefully, by the time we’re about to hit Hawaii, I can rock these amazing swimsuits. One piece are going back in style so I definitely plan on bringing one or two with me. I love the plunging neckline on these swimsuits. And of course, I won’t forget to bring a set of Triangle Swimsuit plus a black bikini.

Finally! I was able to try the famous Shake Shack burger! I was never a burger person but the reviews about Shake Shack got me curious. My friends wanted to have it so I decided to finally try it. The first time I had Shake Shack was at the Grand Central Station few weeks ago. It was amazing! I ordered the simplest burger they have which was the Shack Burger: Cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato, and Shack sauce plus fries! The Angus beef burger was not dry at all and unlike other burgers, Shake Shack burger was not oily. Single order was enough for me; it was definitely filling. The only downside about Shake Shack was the long lines (due to popular demand). My friends were in line for about an hour at the Madison Square Park location. The line at Shake Shack at the Grand Central Station wasn’t that bad. Either way, it was worth it.
